Canvas LMS for Philippine schools and universities
Everything a class does in a term, in one place
Canvas LMS is Instructure's learning management system, built for grade school through graduate study. It holds a class's course content, assignments, quizzes, grades and feedback in one place.
Global tools. Local licensing and support.
- One subscriptionPlaced and renewed with a Philippine company
- Access set upLogins and links arranged with your library
- Program scopingCoverage matched to the programs and offices you run
- Local supportQuestions reach a team in the Philippines
CE-Logic licenses the tool locally and sets it up with your library, so your users reach the content it holds, your librarians put it in front of the right people, and the institution gets sources it can stand behind.
What goes into one subscription
A course platform with the teaching tools built in
- Assignments and quizzes
- Discussions and pages
- SpeedGrader and Gradebook
A course in Canvas LMS is one workspace. Instructors build it from Modules and Pages, set the work as Assignments, Quizzes and graded Discussions, and everything a student has to do lands on a to-do list and a calendar with its due date attached. Grading happens in SpeedGrader, where a submission opens with the rubric beside it and the comments and annotations stay on the work itself. The Gradebook keeps every grade in one table, with the weightings and the views an instructor sets. The mobile apps for students, teachers and parents carry the same course on a phone.
A course is also reusable. Course Copy takes a subject into the next term with its reading list and its assignments already in place, and Blueprint courses push a single change out to every course built from a master, so a revision the program agrees on does not have to be repeated section by section. Rubrics can carry the outcomes a program states, so what a student was assessed on is recorded against those outcomes rather than reconstructed from a grade sheet afterwards.
Who uses it, and for what
Faculty run their classes in it, publishing the module for the week, setting the quiz, grading in SpeedGrader and messaging the students who need a nudge. Students open the same course to read the material, hand in the work, take the quiz and read the feedback that comes back. Guardians get the parent app, which shows a child's assignments, due dates, reminders and grades. A program head or a dean reads course activity and progress across sections without waiting for a report to be built. Administrators set the roles, permissions and account settings the institution's own structure needs, and the IT office manages the connections to the tools the campus already runs. Instructional designers use it as well, building the master course once and rolling it out across sections.

Bringing Canvas LMS to a Philippine institution
C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions is an official Diamond Services Partner and Value-Added Reseller of Canvas LMS in the Philippines and Asia, and implementation, training and local support come from that same team. A rollout starts with what the institution already runs. The courses and files that have to come across go in through the Course Import Tool, the student records the registrar works from arrive through SIS imports, and the sign-in the IT office already issues carries over on SAML.
The first term is planned with you before it opens: which courses are built in Canvas, who is trained and when, and what the IT office watches once classes start. Onboarding, technical assistance and support continue after the term opens. When the term closes, the institution has a working Canvas account, courses that can be copied forward, and support from the team that set it up.
How CE-Logic Implements Canvas LMS: The Navigate Framework
A license is not adoption. CE-Logic uses the Navigate framework to make sure the resource gets adopted, reaches the right people, and stays tied to institutional goals.
01
Discover
We look at what your programs, research offices and students need to reach, and how your library handles access today, before a subscription is placed.
02
Align
We match the coverage to the programs, research areas or agency mandates it has to serve, so the subscription has a reason to exist.
03
Activate
We set up authentication and library links before launch, and start with the librarians and faculty who will use it first.
04
Sustain
Ongoing support from CE-Logic after launch, with usage reviewed against the programs the subscription was bought for, so renewal is a decision on evidence.
Navigate is the C&E ALS framework for turning a licensed resource into research your institution actually uses. Read about C&E ALS Navigate.

Questions institutions ask before licensing Canvas LMS
Can our institution evaluate Canvas LMS before we commit to it?
Yes. CE-Logic arranges a free trial or a demo, and it is set up around your institution rather than handed out as a login. The usual starting point is the courses you would move first and the people who would teach them, so the evaluation answers your questions instead of showing features.
How do we request a quote for Canvas LMS for our institution?
Send the request through the contact form on this site. CE-Logic scopes a Canvas LMS rollout through Navigate, its framework for matching a platform to your programs, your IT office and your term calendar, so the quote fits how your institution runs rather than a fixed package.
Do we need servers or software on campus to run Canvas LMS?
No. Canvas LMS runs as a cloud service, so your IT office has nothing to install or host on campus. Students and faculty open it in a browser or in the Canvas mobile apps, and they can sign in from home as readily as from a computer lab.
Can Canvas LMS run exams from question banks with a time limit?
Yes. Instructors build quizzes from question banks, and a question group draws a different set of items for each student, with answer choices shuffled, so a large class sits the same exam without identical papers. A time limit is set on the quiz, and the score goes into the Gradebook.
Can Canvas LMS serve our college and senior high school together?
Yes. A Canvas account is built as a hierarchy, so an institution can give each college, department or grade level its own sub-account and its own permissions, and terms at the root let those units follow separate calendars and access dates.
Can students use Canvas LMS offline when the connection drops?
Partly. Course content can be read offline in the Canvas Student app: a student downloads the courses they need, keeps reading without a connection, and syncs again for anything new. Your institution enables the feature, and submitting work, taking a quiz or posting in a discussion still needs a connection.
