Partnerships create possibilitiesβ€”and at EdConnect 2026, one such partnership took an important step forward.

C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions (C&E ALS) and the British Council Philippines formalized a shared commitment to advancing education through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, witnessed by education leaders and stakeholders from across the country last July 2 at Seda Vertis North, Quezon City.

Representing the British Council were Country Director Lotus Postrado, Head of Education Gerald Magno, and Head of Market Mike Cabigon. Joining them from C&E ALS were CEO John Emyl Eugenio and Vice President Gerric Gomez.

Grounded in a shared vision for collaboration, capacity building, and educational innovation, this partnership reflects our commitment to supporting institutions, educators, and learners through initiatives that strengthen teaching and learning, foster international engagement, and help prepare education systems for the future.

We thank the British Council for its trust and partnership as we continue working together to create meaningful opportunities for the education community.

In an era of rapid technological advancement, one message stood out at EdConnect 2026: education must remain deeply human.

We extend our profound appreciation to Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Juan Edgardo Sonny Angara for delivering the closing keynote address and sharing his valuable insights on the role of technology, innovation, and inclusion in shaping the future of learning.

In his address, Secretary Sonny Angara emphasized that while digital transformation continues to open new possibilities for education, its true value lies in expanding opportunities, fostering belonging, and helping every learner realize their full potential. Challenging us to build institutions where innovation serves humanityβ€”not the other way aroundβ€”he beautifully reminded us that while technology can make us more connected, only core values can truly keep us together.

His message resonated strongly with the conversations throughout EdConnect 2026, reinforcing the importance of building learning environments that are not only future-ready, but also guided by empathy, purpose, and a commitment to learner success.

Thank you, Secretary Angara, for helping advance the dialogue on the future of Philippine education and for inspiring education leaders to keep people at the heart of progress.
