The Katipunan ng mga Mananaliksik at Guro ng Araling Panlipunan (KaMaG-Aral) will hold its 1st National Conference with the theme "Social Studies Education in the Post-Pandemic Era" on August 1-3, 2024 at the CSS-AVR, College of Social Sciences, UP Baguio.
Co-sponsored by C&E Publishing, Inc., the conference will feature a keynote speech, plenary sessions, and paper presentations that will take a closer look at the state of social studies education in the country.
It will also include a presentation and launching of the book "Foundation of Social Studies" written by C&E Publishing, Inc. author and KaMaG-Aral President Arnie Garcia Dizon, PhD. This textbook offers a research-based exploration of Social Studies in basic education, covering its nature, history, philosophical perspectives, and theoretical frameworks.
